Fish or marine collagen is one of the best forms of collagen available. This structural protein, which is naturally found in and on the surface of our bodies and provides the required strength, support and elasticity to body tissues such as skin, bones, cartilage, tendons, muscles and blood vessels, stops producing as we age and causes the signs of ageing, which are particularly visible on our skin. This effect slowly kicks in from our twenties onwards.

Regular use of collagen as a dietary supplement can minimize these deficiencies. Fish (marine) collagen, which is obtained from fish living in cold waters - especially salmon, is absorbed more efficiently into the bloodstream compared to other collagens used (for example, beef collagen) and the risk of an allergic reaction is almost minimal.

If you feel that your cartilage, tendons, muscles or skin need support, there is probably no better or easier way to supplement with collagen.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring linear polysaccharide with a high molecular weight. It is also known by the abbreviation KH. It is found in nervous, connective and epithelial tissues, in the vitreous of the eye and in the skin, and is also one of the main components of intercellular matrix. It is especially famous in beauty care - it can also be found in the form of creams and serums, counteracting the formation of wrinkles.

Its main function in our body is, for example, its ability to bind water to itself or prevent collagen deposition, thus aiding scarless tissue healing. It is also used artificially in plastic surgery to fill in wrinkles. Its replenishment should never be neglected by anyone who cares about their skin and entire exterior.

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble nutrient and, above all, a vitamin that is absolutely essential for maintaining our physical health - without it, most of the processes in our bodies would not function properly and we would not be properly protected from oxidative stress.

Vitamin C contributes to the maintenance of normal immune system function and also to the normal production of collagen for normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, teeth and skin. It supports normal nervous system function and contributes to normal mental activity. It also increases iron absorption and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, to the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion and to normal energy metabolism.

Vitamin C is found naturally in many foods - the highest levels are found in cabbage, rose hips, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, blackcurrants, red peppers, papaya and kiwi, but of course also in citrus fruits. And if we want to be sure of its supply, here's our supplement.
